VERAXA Biotech GmbH is a leader in the rapid and functional screening of antibodies using droplet-based microfluidic technology. Compared to current antibody screening methods, VERAXA’s technology enables the quantitative and rapid recognition of antibody functions in target cells for the first time.  Business Development Manager (w/m/d)

 Your responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you autonomously and successfully lead and maintain customer projects from initiation to contract execution

  • Identification and development of additional value-adding opportunities offered by VERAXA’s antibody generation expertise and proprietary technology platform

  • Lead a cross-functional team to facilitate the deal-making process

  • Participate at scientific and business-related venues (e.g. conferences, partnering-events) and attract new customers for VERAXA

  • Understand customer’s needs and challenges in order to identify new areas of value creation for VERAXA’s technology platform

Your qualification/expertise

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or related field

    • Profound understanding of antibody biology and strong interest in commercial aspects

    • Ability to quickly come to grips with new technologies and drug development strategies

    • Building and maintaining senior-level relationships at customer organizations

    • Experience leading and working on multiple projects collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team and across multiple functional areas

    • Strategic thinker and self-starter, willingness to travel

    • Very good English communication skills (verbally and in writing) with capability to lead negotiations, German language skills are an asset
